High Availability (HA) covers your needs by keeping your data or applications on two geographically separated locations. A failover mechanism –agreed by you and performed by Luna- ensures access to your data and applications in case of calamities. This redundancy is the perfect solution when a server breaks down and you have to access your current data on the server at all times. The minimum availability of Luna High Availibility runs up to 99,95 percent!

High Availability however is an ambiguous concept. Some providers offer "mirrored" servers in the same data centre under the name of High Availability. Luna does not do that! Luna has already included all your data in its Storage Area Network (SAN) within its standard Dedicated Server offer. This system makes a complete copy of current data and ensures that the server can keep working without consequences if one of the harddisks should break down. In addition to this, Luna offers Remote Back-up. Remote back-up enables a safe way of external storage. Remote back-up data are stored off-site in Luna's redundant backbone infrastructure. The location, the machine and the processes are monitored 24/7. In case of calamities, the remote back-up gives easy access to your data.
